Curriculum – Cambridge International

At Skypoint Academy, we proudly offer the Cambridge International Curriculum, a globally recognized programme that equips students with the knowledge, skills, and qualifications needed to succeed at top universities and careers around the world.

Our curriculum is taught in English, with additional language support in Afrikaans, French, and Spanish, as well as TEFL-trained teachers to assist non-native speakers. We keep class sizes small, ensuring personalised learning and strong academic outcomes.

Early Years (Ages 3–5)

A nurturing introduction to school life, focusing on play-based learning, early literacy, numeracy, and social development.

Primary (Grades 1–6 / Ages 5–11)

Building strong foundations in core subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, Global Perspectives, and Languages. Learners are encouraged to develop curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Lower Secondary (Grades 7–9 / Ages 11–14)

An engaging, broad curriculum that prepares students for IGCSE. Subjects include English, Mathematics, Sciences, ICT, Global Perspectives, Languages, and more.

Upper Secondary – IGCSE (Grades 10–11 / Ages 14–16)

Internationally recognised qualifications across a wide range of subjects. Students select a combination of subjects that align with their strengths and future study interests.

Advanced – AS & A Levels (Grades 12–13 / Ages 16–19)

A highly respected pre-university qualification. Learners specialise in chosen subjects, developing critical thinking, research, and academic independence — opening pathways to leading universities worldwide.
